3.28 early crocus

This was taken a couple of days ago. To know what it looks like today, picture it with a couple of inches of snow on top.

I thought about before and after pictures, but, honestly? I sort of figured you all knew what snow looks like at this point.

The snow looked all lacey and beautiful on the trees this morning, until the sun came out this afternoon and started the Great Melt going. Huge clumps-o-snow splatting down on the streets, occasionally beaning cars, and making huge divots in the snow on the ground.
