3.3 Weather ad nauseum

I keep swearing to myself that I'm not going to mention the weather again...

It was 62 F today, sunny, bright, warm. Two thirds of the snow on the ground melted and almost all of the snow on the roof. The creeks are trying to burst their bounds and the drainage ditch by the school which is being rebuilt is overflowing. All day there were loud crashes as snow fell, or ice fell, from roofs and eaves. The trickle of snowmelt running in gutters was a constant, and we splashed through rivulets at the gutters, pulling in and out of driveways.

Tonight? It's supposed to drop to 28 F and start raining/sleeting/snowing; more of that "wintery mix" that has made up too much of this winter's weather.

We get more of that for the foreseeable future.

Ugh.
