It's been snowing for 3 days now - not usually very hard, just consistently. We've had probably 10 inches of fluffy delicate stuff which has compacted down into about six inches of snow on the ground.
Looking down our street...
and out into the backyard at the dark-eyed juncos.

Snowball on the heat vent about 30 seconds later.
