Post script to previous post: K has now been reminded that if she lets go of the book for a total of approximately 3.5 hours, her mother will finish it, thereby allowing her to now discuss matters that arise as she gets to them, as long as it's not in her brother's hearing. She is both satisfied and pouting about this development.

3.5 hrs? It took me about 12 hrs - of course I had to sleep, eat, walk dogs, talk on the phone and do laundry. Even without life in the way, I probably wouldn't have made much better time. I guess I wanted to savor every word. The last one. Sorta like spoiling the last child...
Yeah, about 3.5 hours. I said before that I tend to dive into books, rather than savor them. Savoring comes later - I spent about an hour this morning reading the last third of the book again. I'll re-read the book in its entirety, probably some time next month, probably after I re-read all of them in order.
I should have had ours delivered to your house first since we're holding it for DD to open when she moves home this weekend. Last thing she needs is a must-read book right before finals!
