It took almost exactly one and a half hours to untangle the nest. I'm rummaging around with it now, trying to decide on a pattern I like with the yarn. Fortunately, it seem to be pretty forgiving about being ripped (and tangled and untangled and sat on by a white cat).

If it were a black cat, you'd have to pick out the black hairs, too. Small blessing, I know, but it was the only positive thing I could think of! --syl, nagging you to go finish writing that paper.
